We envision a world where the homeless don’t freeze to death. We are working to help curve and eradicate this problem by providing homeless persons with access to hand warmers during the winter months.

What We Do
Hand warmers & heat sources
Air-activated hand warmers and external heat sources given directly to people living outside during the cold winter months.
Warm clothing & apparel
Warm layers — including our own winter hoodies — to help people make it through the night. Proceeds from apparel support our work in the community.
Partnering on the front lines
We work with shelters, outreach organizations, and first responders so warmth reaches as many people as possible, as fast as possible.
Meet the Founder
Project Hand Warmer was founded by Roman Lemar, a United States Marine Corps veteran. The hand warmers that got him through cold-weather training inspired him to bring that same warmth to veterans and homeless neighbors across the Midwest.
